Note: a species with marginate blackish apothecia and 6-8-septate acicular ascospores, pigmentation of hypothecium not indicated; on soil and overgrowing bryophytes; most likely a synonym of B. bagliettoana; B. viridescens sensu auct. brit. is likely to refer to a different species.
