Lichenised.

Substrate: siliceous rocks

Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)

Note: on steeply inclined faces of siliceous rocks, especially in seepage tracks, usually below the montane belt; in the study area only reported from the Western Alps (France).
