Substrate: siliceous rocks

Altitudinal distribution: mesomediterranean belt (potential vegetation: evergreen broad-leaved forests dominated by Quercus ilex)

Note: a very poorly known species of siliceous rocks, reported from a few localities in Western and Southern Europe, including the base of the Western Alps.
