Lecanora subravida Nyl.
Syn.: Lecanora varia (Hoffm.) Ach. var. subravida (Nyl.) Nyl.
Lichenised. Poorly known taxon.
Substrate: bark, lignum
Altitudinal range: from the montane belt (potential vegetation: deciduous forests dominated by Fagus sylvatica and closed coniferous forests with Picea abies) to the subalpine belt (potential vegetation: open, taiga-like forests dominated by Larix decidua and/or Pinus cembra and Rhododendron)
Note: this name is mostly used for a lignicolous taxon, perhaps of the L. saligna-group, but there are nomenclatural problems which we are unable to resolve at the moment; the species. which might be heterogeneous, has scattered records from the Alps.
