Opegrapha subparallela Müll. Arg.
Lichenised. Poorly known taxon.
Substrate: lignum
Altitudinal distribution: montane belt (potential vegetation: deciduous forests dominated by Fagus sylvatica and closed coniferous forests with Picea abies)
Note: a lignicolous species recalling a black Xylographa parallela, perhaps related to O. ochrocheila, with an endosubstratic thallus, non-pruinose ascomata, and finally 3-septate ascospores; rare throughout Europe, with a few scattered records from the Alps.
