Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a mainly tropical species described from the pre-Alpine hills of NE Italy (the only European record), where it is probably extinct. The hitherto known distribution includes also India, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
