Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a species with a whitish-grey, minutely squamulose thallus and Lecanora-like apothecia, perhaps a taxon of the C. obscurella-group; on bark of deciduous trees at low elevations; extremely rare, in the study area so far only known from a single locality of the Eastern Alps.
