Substrate: calciferous rocks, calciferous soil
Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a temperate ephemeral lichen of disturbed habitats, most frequent on concrete walls, but also found on calciferous soil; perhaps more widespread in the Alps but overlooked, or confused with other species.
