Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: on steeply inclined to vertical seepage tracks of more or less calcareous or basic siliceous rocks; most common in the Mediterranean belt, with a few scattered records from the Southern and Western Alps.
