Micarea viridileprosa Coppins & van den Boom

Lichenised.
Substrate: bark, lignum, plant debris, siliceous rocks, acidic soil (mostly on siliceous substrata)
Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a recently described, mostly sterile species found on a wide variety of acid substrata in humid lowland areas; in the study area so far only reported from the base of the Western Alps (France).
