Note: a poorly known, non-lichenised species, perhaps belonging to Chaetosphaeriales, with a spreading, pure black, relatively thick, subiculum-like thallus, 8-spored asci, and hyaline, narrowly fusiform, 3-septate ascospores (15-16 × 3-4 μm); on the trunks and twigs of Alnus viridis; only known from the type locality in the Eastern Alps (Austria).
