Note: a very poorly known species with a whitish-grey, areolate thallus, apothecia immersed at first, later sessile, with a black (brown when wet) disc, 8-spored asci, and bilocular, ellipsoid ascospores (c. 18 × 8 μm); on schistose rocks, described from Switzerland without a precise locality, and only known from the type (ad saxa micacea Helvetiae).
