Lichenised. Poorly known taxon.
Substrate:
Altitudinal distribution: montane belt (potential vegetation: deciduous forests dominated by Fagus sylvatica and closed coniferous forests with Picea abies)
Note: a species with a thin, epilithic, grey, somewhat rimose thallus, almost completely immersed perithecia (to c. 0.25 mm in diam.), and up to c. 20 µm long ascospores; on irrigated outcrops of marl, only known from the type locality in the Eastern Alps (Austria).
