Substrate: calciferous rocks
Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a species with a more or less farinose, whitish thallus, very small, gyalectiform, sessile apothecia with a yellowish disc and a persistent margin, 8-spored asci, and ovoid-fusiform, simple ascospores measuring c. 9 × 3.6 µm, also reported from the Czech Republic and Romania; this taxon, which perhaps belongs to Myriolecis, well deserves further study. The type (VER) was collected “ad saxa jurassica Prov. Veronensis (Grozzana)”.
