Substrate: calciferous rocks
Altitudinal distribution: montane belt (potential vegetation: deciduous forests dominated by Fagus sylvatica and closed coniferous forests with Picea abies)
Note: known only from the type collection, on dolomite, this species, characterised by the small urceolate apothecia with a reddish disc and a black margin, and by 2-6-celled ascospores, well deserves further study.
