Substrate: bark
Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a species with a thin, greyish thallus and minute apothecia which are aspicilioid at first, later recalling those of Myriolecis persimilis; on the bark of deciduous trees at low elevations; in the study area so far known from a single locality in the Western Alps (France).
