Lecidea proxima Anzi

Lichenised. Poorly known taxon.
Substrate: bark
Altitudinal distribution: subalpine belt (potential vegetation: open, taiga-like forests dominated by Larix decidua and/or Pinus cembra and Rhododendron)
Note: from the description this species appears to be related to Ramboldia elabens, differing in the intensely greenish apothecial disc, the pale hypothecium and the larger spores; the type material, collected on dry twigs of Larix, deserves further study.
Switzerland: Graubünden; Italy: Lombardia;
