Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a recently-described species found on limestone in deciduous woodlands, mostly in rather shaded situations; in the study area hitherto known only from the Western Alps, but perhaps more widespread.
