Protoblastenia lilacina Poelt & Vězda

Lichenised.
Substrate: calciferous rocks
Altitudinal distribution: montane belt (potential vegetation: deciduous forests dominated by Fagus sylvatica and closed coniferous forests with Picea abies)
Note: a rather poorly understood species of sunny calcareous rocks below the subalpine belt, reported from several localities in Central Europe. It is characterised by the weak reaction of the apothecia to K; probably some herbarium specimens of P. calva will turn out to be P. lilacina.
Austria: Salzburg; Kärnten; Oberösterreich; Niederösterreich (incl. Wien); Italy: Veneto;
