Pseudosagedia globulans (Vain.) Hafellner

Syn.: Porina globulans Vain.
Lichenised. Poorly known taxon.
Substrate: siliceous rocks
Altitudinal distribution: alpine belt (potential vegetation: treeless Alpine grasslands and tundras, to the lower limit of perennial snow and the equilibrium line of glaciers)
Note: resembling P. chlorotica (a lowland species) in the 3-septate ascospores, but with globose perithecia; the value of this silicicolous species, based on type from Finland, is in need of re-evaluation; there are scattered records throughout Europe, including the Eastern Alps (Austria).
