Altitudinal distribution: submediterranean/colline belt (potential vegetation: mixed deciduous forests dominated by Quercus and Carpinus)
Note: a species with a thin, black, gelatinous thallus and innate apothecia with flesh-red discs, known only from the type material (on granitic outcrops in a deciduous lowland forest); the generic placement is unresolved.
