The Vatova-Schiffner algarium

The algal herbarium of Aristocle Vatova and Victor Schiffner, preserved at the Natural History Museum of Venice, contains essential data for understanding the biodiversity of the Venice Lagoon and its evolution over the last century. It is also an important tool for taxonomic research in the field of phycology.
