2025-09-01 - Shuttle service
For the Conveners which are staying at the Hotel Internazionale:
- On Wednesday 3rd, there is a shuttle planned to leave from your Hotel at 9:00 a.m. to bring you to the Auditorium (ca. 10 min ride) On the same day, the shuttle will bring you back to the Hotel either at 8:00 p.m. or at 11:00 p.m.
- On Thursday 4th, the shuttle is planned to leave from Hotel Internazionale at 8:30 a.m. On the same day, the shuttle will bring you back to the Hotel either at 8:00 p.m. or at 11:30 p.m. (after the social dinner)
- On Friday 7th, the shuttle is planned to leave from Hotel Internazionale at 8:30 a.m.
For the conveners which are participating to the excursion:
- On Saturday, the day of the excursion, the shuttle will collect the participants at 8:00 a.m. at the Hotel Internazionale, then at the Auditorium (ca. 8:15 a.m.), to eventually reach the location of the excursion. The ride back will be at 2:00 p.m.


2025-08-31 - Lunches menu
Wednesday, September 3rd:
Fusilloni with courgette cream and smoked scamorza + half ljubljanska + mixed baked vegetables
Vegetarian / vegan option: Fusilloni with courgette cream + aubergine cutlet + mixed baked vegetables
Thursday, September 4th:
Cold barley salad with “pesto alla Genovese”, green beans, potatoes and confit cherry tomatoes + roast beef, rocket and parmesan flakes + salad, fresh fennel, grated carrots and walnuts
Vegetarian / vegan option: Cold barley salad with “pesto alla Genovese”, green beans, potatoes and confit cherry tomatoes + NOMEAT hamburger + salad, fresh fennel, grated carrots and walnuts
Fryday, September 5th:
Focaccia with buffalo mozzarella and anchovies + chicken thigh with rosemary + boiled green beans
Vegetarian / vegan option: Eggplant parmigiana + vegan vegetable wrap + nachos
NB: at the registration desk you will be asked for your preferences.


2025-08-30 - Social dinner menu:
Entries:
”Toc in braide” with montasio cream (OK for vegetarians)
Vegan option: “Toc in braide” sautéed mushrooms
First courses:
”Spatzle” with San Daniele and orzotto with courgettes, sausage and smoked ricotta
Vegetarian / vegan option: “Spatzle” with vegetable ragù and courgette orzotto
Main courses:
one between:
Refosco pork cheek with truffle flavored puree
and
Ljubljanska with french fries
Vegetarian option: Soft “frico” with potatoes “in tecia”
Vegan option: Wheat tortilla stuffed with courgettes, peppers, red onion with vegan stringy slices accompanied by baked potatoes
Dessert:
Chocolate “palacinke” with fiordilatte ice cream (OK for vegetarians)
Vegan option: mini vegan “palacinke” with Nutella, chocolate topping, chopped hazelnuts and icing sugar with soy ice cream

2025-08-28 - Biodiversity Week
The Municipality of Gorizia has embedded our Conference in the framewor of a week full of event realted to botany and to biodiversity as a whole. Detailed information are available at the official URL of the event: https://www.go2025.eu/en/whats-up/events/capital-green.

2025-08-26 - Lunch breaks and social dinner
At the registration, conveners will be required to detail their preferences (vegetarians, vegans, etc.), and any intollerance they have. The organisers do not ensure to satisy any request after the registration.


2025-08-26 - Congress excursion
The participants will be collected by a bus at 8 o'clock in the morning at Hotel Internazionale, and at 8:15-8:20 in front of the Auditorium. The excursion will end ca. at 13:30. Then the participant will be collected by a bus and taken back in Gorizia.


2025-08-25 - AperiWorkshop
Given the number of participants, it was decided to slightly modify the format, while maintaining the orginal idea. Thus, the session will be held in the Auditorium. At the beginning, from 18.30 to 19.00, the three projects will be presented in the main room (10 minutes presentation each). Then, the participants will move to the coffe-break area, where a special catering sevice will be available. Here the participants, while having a drink, will be able to freely discuss with the three presenters, to ask for further information, and to enroll to participate to the projects.
